Well...I've had some flash drive issues lately. I've been preparing a piece for 's contest, which ends in about 4 minutes, for maybe 3 or 4 months. I think I'm very satisfied with it overall. [link] Also, my dad got me a new flash drive because I lost mine a while ago. 8G, very nice. I tried scanning my drawings and putting the images on that same flash drive multiple times. At first, I thought it was the scanner or the format or something. After the third time, I figured it was the flash drive. It still refused to cooperate after reformating it a few times. I went to a lot of damn trouble just to have it not work. D<

Yesterday, Thursday, I had German and then I went to a Dance Fusion show with my new boyfriend (will be explained later). I scanned my drawings (again) and left on my merry way. My flute teacher canceled the lesson, so I went home after school to upload it. Of course, you guessed it, it was corrupted. I was freaking out. I didn't know how I was going to do this! I had to go to my German class though. I went, and complained to my friends Andrew and Rob. Rob, being as kind as he is, took the drawing home with him and scanned it while I went to the show with my boyfriend. I got home and successfully received and completed the background. Nothing more could go wrong now that I have the bulk of it done...right?

Well, here's the fun part. I went to YouSendIt.com to email the 12.1MB image (~4,000px x 6,000px) to the Fanime contest...people. >>; I tried a dozen times, all with the same result. "We're sorry, Firefox has unexpectedly closed down on itself." AGH. WTF. So this time, I took both my flash drive and my dad's with the image (just to be safe) to the Teen Center today to try emailing it there. It worked! Oh man, I was so relieved. It was quick and easy. I suppose my trouble was because I have about 3G of room left on my computer. ><

So, in the end, the image was successfully received and finished, and I am entered in the contest. I hope I win. ^^

Moving backwards to recover the confusion I have left you with, yes, I have a new boyfriend. After three months of grieving and sorrow and poor me poor me, I have finally decided he's not fucking worth it. After all I did for him, he decided to treat me like shit. No one has ever insulted me as much as he has. I didn't even know feelings like that existed, the one's he made me feel. Complete anguish, pure rage. Simple words can't even describe the insanity of the affliction.

At that moment, I gave up. A friend from my middle school year's started coming back to my youth group, Garth. I dated him in my seventh grade year for a short time, so I know him pretty well by now. He had left our school for a while, so I hadn't seen him in a long time. After recently letting go of my past, I looked to Garth. I started to feel for him. I hesitated though, because even though it's been three months, I'm mad with fear that he may be a rebound. Eventually...we found out that the other had feelings for each other. We started planning getting back together. Oh the irony of finding new love on the would-be one year anniversary of me and The Asshole of Recent. <3

So that's what's going on. I have so much more fun with Garth just hanging out with him than I ever did with Kian. We talk about so many things. He actually listens and wants to be with me. He appreciates my interests as well as his, even though sometimes we don't agree. Meaning, we don't fight, we just have separate interests. We actually laugh about those differences. ^^

I hope Garth can help revitalize my hope and trust in the male race. So far, even though it's only been three days, it's come a long way. I feel confident that I will be much better off with Garth.

And Garth, if you are reading all this, then grats. You know how I really feel now, if you didn't before. XD Thank you for being there and for being amazingly awesome. You make me feel like a decent human being again. ^^ <3
